ReAction is a 55ft Jeanneau Lagoon catamaran voted best catamaran at the 2008 Tortola charter yacht show. Although the yacht is slightly older it has been meticulously maintained and has a bright, airy and sophisticated interior. It is also bursting with water toys including a powerful 60hp dingy and SCUBA equipment.

The yacht attains speeds in excess of 16 knots, while its 30/foot beam provides unrivaled stability and comfort under sail. Heeling and rolling are virtually imperceptible. Its wide beam also furnishes huge amounts of deck and interior space.

ReAction features three Queen and one Twin guest rooms / each with ensuite bathroom / that will accommodate up to eight members in your party, and the elegant main salon will seat twelve people comfortably. The yacht is fully air/conditioned with separate controls in each guest cabin.

The unique layout of ReAction, with three queen size staterooms and one bunk room with two single beds is ideal for any combination of families with children, couples or singles. The spacious, shaded outside cockpit will seat ten at two tables, the aft deck also has two lounging mats for sunning and two fresh water showers for your comfort.

Your crew aboard ReAction, Ian and Polly have been a couple for 12 years. They have been successfully working in the charter yacht industry in the BVIs for the last 5 of those. They have an intimate knowledge of the islands, above and below water and take pride in tailoring the daily itinerary to the needs and desires of each group for your perfect vacation.

Ian has been sailing since the age of 13, when he started working as a dinghy instructor on the south coast of England. He spent his late teens and early twenties working on a beautiful Victorian Gaff Cutter. His location in the South West of England has given him great access to cross/channel sailing and the Irish Sea. After completing a degree in Music, focussing on jazz piano, composition and sound recording, Ian spent some time working as a sound engineer on feature films. His yachting experience has also taken him to Australia and the Mediterranean. He is a Royal Yachting Association MCA Commercial Yachtmaster.

While spending her childhood in rural Devon, Polly first found her love for sailing in her teens when she became involved with the local sailing club, and spent her time exploring the south coast of England by sea. After completing a degree in English, Polly left her busy office job to combine her love of cooking with sailing.

She honed her culinary skills by training to be a Yacht Chef with a UK Masterchef. She loves to use fresh ingredients and herbs in all her cooking and will readily accommodate individual tastes and preferences. Polly creates beautifully presented delicious food, with devilish desserts her particular specialty.

Ian and Polly are creative people who have a friendly and laid/back disposition and a professional attitude that will make you feel totally at home while on board.
